Brief

Conceived in Boorloo on Whadjuk Noongar boodja, boorda yeyi takes its title from the language of this place and means ‘future now’. This new immersive arts program invites artists to consider a broad range of cutting edge technologies in creating works that are expansive and transformative. Boldly experimental, boorda yeyi is a commitment to emergent technologies and the artists who use them to create new horizons.

Role + Responsibilities

  • Invited speaker at the boorda yeyi Foundational Symposium.

  • Mentoring one of the team’s participating in the Intensive Mentorship program and collaborating with Technical Artists.

  • Providing guidance on creating a first time work in Extended Reality (XR) and functional prototype.

  • Particular focus on narrative, storytelling, user experience and world building for immersive experiences

Outcome

  • Works to be showcased July 2025.
